A small and speedy piece, patterned from a bowl I saw at an Egyptian art exhibition. The triangles on the back represent lotuses, and are made from from copper wire I tinned and soldered to the foiled glass.
Seen at the Shanghai Museum’s special exhibition, ‘On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt’
I revised the pattern after finishing the piece, as the triangle legs were too small and difficult to process.
